My top play today is Dayton over Richmond. I got -5 early this morning, but it's now at 6. That's what I'll post. Both teams are real hot shooting. Both are real poor rebounding teams. Dayton, however, leads the league in defensive fg% allowed. And at home, they make it very tough on the visitors. Richmond has had a whole week since their last game to prepare. They thumped Davidson at home. Dayton played on Tuesday, getting beat at Davidson. Soundly, I might add. Bounce back day for the Flyers. Don't have a total yet, but even with the defensive numbers for both, I like this one to go over. If it's around 120-125, I'm popping it.
Dayton -6
St Joe's in a Big Five game at the Palestra vs. Penn. The youngsters are playing much better lately. They haven't won much, but have mostly covered the number against the top half of the league. Their FT shooting is lacking. That might bite me down the stretch, but going with the Hawks to get a much needed win today.
St Joe's -4
The other 2 games are Davidson -5 @ GM and GW -14 @ Duq. Davidson just looks like too easy a play to me. Laying off. That's means they roll.
I'm laying off GW/Duq as well. Duq has lost close games at home to VCU, URI, and StB. Not so close on the road. I'd still lean to Duq. They may cover today, but I'm not putting money on it.
Homer play....
Both teams on a short turn around after playing on Thursday. DePaul upset Xavier at home about 3 weeks ago. Musketeers are a totally different team at home though.
X-Men -11'
