White Sox, St Louis, and NBA Total
this is taken from 3 daily winners, these are free plays, these are similar to playtowin,
NBA – (505) MEMPHIS at (506) SAN ANTONIO 9:05 ET ESPN
The Memphis Grizzlies embarrassed themselves in Game 1 as their vaunted defense was taken apart like a vegetable chopper, as San Antonio shot nearly 53 percent and drained 14 three-pointers. The only good thing about a 22-point thrashing is it only counts for one loss and if Memphis can played the kind of defense we have come to expect, they can even up the series. At this juncture, nobody is predicting a Grizzlies victory, but somebody thinks they will play defense and lowered the total from 183 to 182. The Grizz usually are very defensive after a meager offensive showing and are 17-4 UNDER after totaling 85 or fewer points. But San Antonio might have shifted to another gear and are 11-2 OVER after three double digit victories. S-W Take – Lean Over
MLB – (903) CINCINNATI at (904) N.Y. METS 7:10 ET FSOH, SNY
With Johnny Cueto back in the starting rotation for Cincinnati, Mike Leake (3-2, 3.72 ERA) was 50-50 to remain a starting pitcher. He survived likely in part because of manager Dusty Baker’s preference to veterans. Baseball bettors are less sure of Leake and lowered the Reds from -130 to -115 or less on the money line. One positive on Leake is he has posted a 1.65 ERA against the Mets in four starts and his team has won eight of 10, compared to New York being losers in eight of their past 11. Jon Neise (3-4, 5.40) pitched better his last time out, but still has an ERA over nine the last three times he’s taken the ball. S-W Take – Lean with Cincinnati
MLB – (911) ST. LOUIS at (912) SAN DIEGO 10:10 ET FSMW, FSSD
San Diego has not been a good team the last several years, especially compared to St. Louis, yet for reason they give the Cardinals trouble. The Padres are 7-6 versus the Redbirds since 2011, including winning four in a row. The Cards hand the ball to Adam Wainwright (5-3, 2.51) to end this negative streak and he would seem to be the right guy to change his team’s fortunes. Wainwright has a Snooki-sized ERA of 0.97 against the Friars in five starts, yet is only 3-2. There is also hesitancy on the wagering front as the Cardinals have flown from -160 to -142 or less. One caveat in the Cards favor, they are 11-1 after scoring two or fewer runs. S-W Take – St. Louis wins
