Boston @ TB 5/1

Wouldn't this apply to Boston tonight?

Play Against - Road teams against a run line of (+1.5, -210) to (-1.5, -255) - good team from last season, outscored opponents by 0.5 or more runs/game, after allowing 8 runs or more.
(38-5 since 1997.) (88.4%, +32.4 units. Rating = 5*)

It doesn't apply tonight. The carryover condition of this system (good team from last season, outscored opponents by 0.5 or more runs/game) applies to the first 11 games of the next season. (i.e. roughly first two weeks) Boston has played 22 games so far this year.

Thanks for the quick reply, Jeff.

Curious to know why isn't this carryover condition an actual part of the trend?

LOL

I guess we'll just file "applies to the first 11 games of the next season. (i.e. roughly first two weeks)" under Double Secret Probation since it isn't part of the trend but SHOULD be ...
