Notre Dame vs. Purdue

With the loss at Michigan, the Irish were exposed a bit, particularly on defense. Clearly, it isn't the same unit as last season. Perhaps the beat down against the Tide is still fresh in their minds. There is some talent on offense, but with only 12 (4 8) starters back, 3 TD's is a bit much to lay on the road to a Purdue team that seems to get up for the Irish and play decently each year. Purdue has gotten off to a bit of a slow start, but there is some talent on offense and the DL is more than serviceable. The defense will struggle against good offenses, but until ND proves it, they are only a bit above average on offense. Take the generous points with Purdue.
