Since most of you folks were trying to talk about religion, didn't Jesus go around feeding the poor and helping those in need? Yes, yes he did.

Which is why it's up to the people to feed the poor and not our government.

I started a thread entitled "Feeding America". You can find a food bank close to you to drop off canned goods, etc., if you would like to do that. You don't have to be a member of any organized religion to show compassion, which I think is what you were saying.

It's all good folks......we can help people thru organizations set up to find the ones in need.
