Virginia at Miami (-13.5, 46.5) 12:00E  Raycom

Virginia is doing their best as undermanned squad in the ACC. The defense has run hot and cold and will need top effort to slow down Miami passing attack. This might not come easy with the Cavaliers 7-19 ATS on the November road. After squeaking by Wake Forest 28-27, Miami is nicely positioned to run the table in the ACC. That still might not be good enough to make them Coastal champ, nevertheless this proves this program is on the rise. The Hurricanes are 3-11 ATS in road sandwich situation. The home team is 1-4 ATS and Miami lost 48-0 to Virginia in their home game ever at the Orange Bowl two years ago.

Kansas at Kansas State (-2.5, 57.5) 12:30E VERSUS

This is unusual in-state matchup, since both teams have bigger rivals other than each other. Kansas’ defective defense was exposed the end of September and they have permitted over 36 points per game since then. Opposing Big 12 teams have stifled the Jayhawks ground game, placing additional pressure on Todd Reesing to save them. Kansas is 2-15 ATS after allowing 31 points or more in three straight games. Kansas State has been better than presumed and is still in contention for Big 12 North title under coach Bill Snyder. The Wildcats are 1-7 ATS the last two November’s, but is 11-4 SU and ATS against Kansas since 1994.

Navy at Notre Dame (-12.5, 56) 2:30E NBC

If Notre Dame feels it is deserving of higher ranking, it’s time they go out and start knocking off good to above average teams by 20 or more points to prove their point. First up is the Navy, who has through the years given them problems. The Irish like facing the Middies option attack like a trip to the dentist and they are 0-9 ATS at South Bend against them. Navy broke their 43-game losing streak against Notre Dame two years ago and is 27-12 ATS as road underdogs. The Midshipmen lack size, yet allow just 315.6 yards per game on defense. The Fighting Irish are 1-8 ATS at home vs. opponents playing with revenge.

Oklahoma State at Iowa State (+7.5,53) 3:30E  ABC/GP

After a blowout 41-14 loss to Texas, Oklahoma State has to gather themselves for trip to Iowa State. The Cowboys are historically meager in November, posting a 5-13-1 ATS visitor’s record. This would be the time for Zac Robinson to have another energetic performance to lift his team to new heights. With more options than a Rubik’s cube, Iowa State still might be able to win the Big 12 North with three final victories. The Cyclones have a representative offense when QB Austen Arnaud is at the controls. Iowa State is 3-8 ATS as a home underdog vs. ranked foes since 2000 and is 8-15 ATS as a Big 12 home pooch.

USC at Arizona State (+10, 45.5)  8:00E  ABC/GP

With USC not where they expected to be, they play their final road game of the year in Tempe. This wasn’t supposed to be your typical Trojans season and it hasn’t been with close calls and two losses, not being able to put complete games together. USC is 2-9 ATS in the second of two road tilts, with two non-covers this year. Arizona State has built this year’s team around its defense, as the offense has only scored 20 points per game since third contest. The Sun Devils are in uncomfortable spot, being 1-3 ATS as home underdogs under Coach Dennis Erickson and 1-10 SU and 3-7-1 ATS vs. USC in 1998.

Florida State at Clemson (-9.5, 57.5)  7:45E  ESPN

It hasn’t been the kind of season Florida State expected at .500; instead they will look to finish with a flourish and take down Clemson. Since falling to South Florida, the Seminoles offense has averaged 35 points per game. The home team is 6-1 ATS in this matchup. After years of underachieving, Clemson controls their destiny to be ACC Atlantic champions with a win over Florida State. The Tigers are notoriously poor ACC home favorites at 9-17-1 ATS since 2000, however are 2-0 this year. This will be just the eighth time FSU has been a road underdog since joining the ACC in 1992 and they are 4-3 ATS.
