The Kansas City Chiefs’ quest for a quarterback is over.

Alex Smith is their next starting quarterback. The Chiefs have completed a deal with the San Francisco 49ers for Smith, who lost his starting job in San Francisco last season after suffering a concussion.

Smith is considered the top quarterback option in a weak year for quarterbacks. Many people thought the Chiefs, who went 2-14 last season, were a coach and a quarterback away.

They now have Andy Reid and Smith. Will it be enough to make this a playoff team?

The kid showed unquestionalble class not only this year, but during his tenure with the Niners.

I wanted Vikings to get him. He won't put up fantasy numbers but he doesn't make costly mistakes on the field.
