Odds Sources

I hope I'm posting this in the right place...

http://www.statfox.com/mlb/ mlbteam~teamid~ARIZONA~season~2009~log~1
.htm

I was wondering where the odds for individual games are from? Is it an average of odds from a number of bookmakers? If so, which ones? I am trying to build a model and I need to backtest it, so I really need to know where this website gets its odds.

Thanks!

For MLB, we use an average of several major offshore books who post dime lines. Since our customers use different books, we try to create a line that's most representative of what's being offered in the market.

I know this post has been inactive for a while... I was wondering if you could tell me exactly which bookmakers are used to compile the lines for MLB. I really need this information for a study I'm conducting, it would be great if someone could get this info for me...

Thank you again!
