My Grandmother was French Canadian.
I took my $4k Gibson into the hospital.
To sing to her.
Some words, and she smiled. : )
We manged a song. It was over, and the hospital threw me out. Not security, the people visiting her.
But she had that smile again, I always played her a song. She could not understand a word of English, I swear!!! lol!!!
But she would speak it.

I think of her often. She was my heroin.
