Ncaa Bb 11/27/12

Tonight Maryland takes on Northwestern and is currently getting 5 points. NOthrwestern won their tournament in Texas late Saturday night going into an overtime game. However upon returning I got word that they had a very bad practice yesterday, and it may just be a situation of playing too hard at the tournament and then coming back home and having smoke blown up their butts from the students that just got back from TG break. conversly, I've been watching what Turgeon has been doing with this MD squad and has been giving out a lot of minutes to at least 10 players per game. Last Saturday nights game saw 10 Maryland players getting over 15 minuets each. Coach loves this team and so do I. A lot fo up side and a bunch of good athletes with size. I like Marylands chance to win this game outright and have bet accordingly.

Minn/ Fl State. Minn has a very good team this year but I'm looking for a letdown with them playing three days in a row with two long road trips. Don't know factually but they played a 3:30 game in the Bahamas on Saturday. My guess they flew back to Minn on Sunday only to pack up and return down to Fl for an early game tonight. Too much travel in a very short period of time. I'll take Fl. St and lay the points.

Pete,

Nice write up...I am in agreement on FSU/Minny. FSU has played 1 game in the last 10 days and Minny has played 4 games since FSU has played. Huge advantage FSU. They should be much fresher. Thanks for the nudge. Let's bring'em home.
