NFL 11-18 thoughts/notes/picks

Record 9-3 +2 shed wagers

Green Bay -3
GB has beat Detroit 20 of the last 23 games, current coach McCarthy is 11-1 vs Detroit.

This line is tainted because Clay Matthews is out. It hurts but it is not a death sentence. This game was going to be a shootout no matter who plays. In a shootout you have to take the Packers. The Dome and Jordy Nelson equals big day for him and the pack.

Suh is not the player he has been in the past and Sitton can handle him. He is the real playmaker on the Detroit D and he will be limited.

Detroit has a solid OL so do not expect much of a pass rush by the pack. But, GB is better this year against the pass. Hayward and McMillian are playing very well in pass coverage and should be able to keep Detroit down just enough for a GB victory.

CLE +7.5

They can beat Dallas SU, I would take the points because it is in Dallas but CLE has a shot here.

Joe Thomas is one of the best tackles in the NFL. He lines up vs Ware and he has shut guys down this year. The key to Dallas D is Ware and I do not expect him to have a good game.

Trent Richardson should be healed up with the bye so expect him to give CLE a good shot here. He is very hard to tackle and Cleveland has a decent OL. He should have a solid game and keep the ball in Clevelands hands longer than Dallas wants.

Since Joe Haden has returned from being suspended the Browns are 2-2. he changes the way they play defense and makes them a much better team. The Cleveland D plays with tons of confidence when Haden is in there.

Take the Browns and the points.

So two plays
CLE +7.5
GB -3

packers homer here, also no right tackle for the pack (bulaga) no woodson, no jennings, suspect run game, no matthews, i know detroit is detroit (always bad), but just had to point out the other injuries. i think whoever has the ball last wins, and i hope its the pack
