I like to have a break for a while. Hope to return with some modifications and better results. See you!

Good decision. We are going though a major favorite run. Will not last forever but could be expensive right now. BOL

Can't wait for the return of the Iron Dogs.

Hopefully you'll come back to post these plays with the necessary modifications.

Thanks again for sharing, Sawyer :)

i know this problem. last year my dogs system has worked also very well from january to april, but this year it collapsed from the beginning before yours.it's not catastrophic (it's near 0 % ROI).
so i'm working to have adjustments for the V2... it's disappointed but your system was also a great idea.
it also means that's not a strong system. it's the problem with some systems. a lot of work for a few month and then collapse...

good luck for your next version of iron dogs !

and thanks to have posted these ones.

5 wins 24 losses of late on sides, and 3 wins 7 losses on totals. Yep, I'd say that some, maybe a lot of, adjustments are needed.
It got real expensive real quick, ever since the famous night with 8 plays with 1 win. Playing % of BR made it even worse.

i still say the books never adjusted. Looked to me like the dogs just stopped winning.

I agree favs are killing it right now, but dogs should be back with a vengeance soon enough. I am also picking dogs mainly and the day Sawyer stopped posting i went 6-2, talk about variance. Overall they are still behind though, thanks to the current run of favs.

I think that they have gone the way of the Diamond Dogs. Just another 1 season wonder.

Hi fellas. What's up? I hope you're fine. I'm tracking dogs, they're doing good so far. Still want to give it some time..

Losing streaks happens. What makes you good is to stay alive after losing runs. Thanks everybody for support. It worries me to see some negative comments. It's really disappointing and effects your motivation in a bad way. Risk is always yours in sports betting. You can't blame somebody because his system had a bad run.

Sawyer - I can understand how easy it is to get unmotivated.

I hope I speak for the vast majority of people here when I say that we appreciate all the work you put into this, and do understand that losing streaks can happen no matter what effort is made.

Hope you're doing well and have a great New Years (is it 2012 yet there?) and a fantastic 2012!

Take Care,
Bart

Cebrake

You're mistaken.

MLB Dogs thread was a test thread. I just tried to adept iron dogs system in mlb, worked good in april but not worked in other months.

You're calling iron dogs 1 season wonder? You're not a realistic bettor i guess. It worries me to see douchebag bettors like these..if u have something better, please post. lol.

I dont want anyone to lose money so i decided to stop posting iron dog selections. I hope you'll understand me about it. maybe i may post'em later in HoF section..

Sawyer , my friend. Ignore all of the bashers. Your threads contribute greatly to the den. I hope that you are dong well and look forward to you posting again soon. It is truely amazing that people copme in to bash you when all you are trying to do is help people. No one is holding a gun to their head to make them bet your plays. They can always handicap their own but are too lazy to put in the work. We all do our best at trying to win as that is the goal.

Pete

screw all the haters Sawyer! Your system is awesome and just like you said, if ppl have something better they should post it, instead of complaining. Hope you come back with iron dogs soon and happy new years to you and all in the den!!!

sawyer

your threads have been consistent money
i wouldnt let a few negatives affect anything
no one is under ANY OBLIGATION to follow
they dont even have to open the thread let alone follow the plays
and if they truly feel it is a one year wonder
if they r so smart - they should beg u to post so they could fade ie lang

btw
the negatives i saw were from posters with a grand total of 56 and 68 posts
so if that is the net contribution they have made to the den
the hell with em

may u havea blessed 2012
hope the break helps
and i look forward to the return of the iron dogs
woof woof!

but please try not to go against my blackhawks too much!

be blessed my friend!
