championship games QB'S

can anyone remember 3 QB'S in the championship games the caliber of keenum, foles and bortles. has to be a first.

No. And I don't remember a year where the league was so watered down. They wanted parity. They got mediocrity. It sucks. How else can you explain teams going from ****ty to playoffs. Happens every year. Just a bounce, bobble o injury separates all the teams, except the mighty pats. Someone needs to figure out how they do it.

In 2000, Dilfer, Kerry Collins, Gannon & Culpepper were not fantastic.

A young Jamal Lewis & the best defense since the 85 Bears won Dilfer his Super Bowl. Bortles/Foles would definitely be the worst QB to make a championship game since that time if it were to happen. I guess it's not unheard of to have below par QB's in the Super Bowl, but most of them appeared before passing offense became such an overwhelmingly key part of a team's success. Doug Williams, Mark Rypien, Stan Humphries, Vince Ferragamo, David Woodley are just a few mediocre QB's off the top of my head that led teams to Super Bowl appearances.
