Fair price on the Nats at -135 in Baltimore. They face Alex Cobb who's allowed 5 or more ERs 4 times this season and O's have lost 7 of his 8 starts. Nats are strong vs RHP and score more on the road.

Gio Gonzalez is off to a great start and Orioles are 6-14 in day games.

Cobb also has a 9.00 ERA in 3 day starts. Gio has a 1.47 ERA in 3 day starts.

Gio on the road - 2-1 2.82 ERA
Cobb at home - 0-2 6.97 ERA

Not to mention, Cobb let in 6 earned runs in 3 2/3 innings against the White Sox his last start.

The Nationals have a prime matchup against struggling Orioles righty Alex Cobb, who allowed six runs on eight hits in fewer than four innings during his last start.

Projected to bat second, Harper stands out as one of the highest-rated batters in the early slate with solid Statcast data, and he’s also on the positive side of his splits with an exceptional .420 weighted on-base average (wOBA) and .310 isolated power (ISO) against righties over the past 12 months. Historically, hitters with similar Vegas data, lineup spots and peripheral stats have averaged a +1.25 DraftKings Plus/Minus per our Trends tool.

Cubs at -166 at Mets. Quintana pitching and he's been much better on the road (3.18 ERA) and in night games (2.35 ERA). Mets rank last in AVG and OPS vs LHP and 28th in runs per game at home.

Lugo making his first start of the season for Mets. Cubs rank 3rd in OPS vs RHP.

It appears the much-ballyhooed James Shields "resurgence" is a fiction and is entirely sustained by a 4.8 % HR/FB ratio entirely out of line with his recent norms.

Throwing nearly the same pitch mix w/ identical velocities. .252 BABIP also helping mask the issues.

Also worth noting, among 90 catchers this season, Baseball Prospectus ranks Narvaez as the absolute worst defensive catcher in MLB.

Despite only starting half of CHW's games, he leads MLB in passed balls (8) and grades out near the very, very bottom in framing and SB attempts.

Indians

Worth noting, not getting involved, but there's reason for skepticism with Bauer coming off of a career-high 127 pitch outing where Francona kept him out there due to his abysmal and exhausted bullpen. Hate to pass on Bauer's U road record, just looks like a nice spot for the Twins & others agree as the line has dropped

Walker Buehler, I disagree with him as a road fave here. He hasn't exactly faced Murderer's Row here in his "NL ROY" season:

Miami, Cincy, SD, and Colorado in the comfy confines of Dodger Stadium.

SD, SF, and MIA on the road in lovely pitchers' parks.

Even if he goes 5+ IP, LAD bullpen is heavily taxed. Likely no Jansen tonight.

Love the Marquez/Wolters pairing. Tony is one of the best defensive catchers in the game and has always worked well with Marquez

Phillies -128 at SF. Arrieta is on a great run that's seen him post a 0.90 ERA over his last 5 starts. He has a career 2.23 ERA in 5 starts at AT&T Park. Phillies haven't been swept yet this season.

He faces Dereck Rodriguez who's making his first career start.

Yankees -155 in Tampa. NYY has won 3 straight Domingo German starts where he has a 3.32 ERA and 28 Ks. Tampa ranks 28th in OPS this month and is doing that thing where the bullpen pitches the whole game. Yankees are 6-0 coming off consecutive loses this season.

In eight career games (seven starts) against the Cardinals, Chacin is 0-6 with a 5.88 ERA and 1.57 WHIP. Current Cardinals hitters are batting .318 off Chacin, with more walks than strikeouts. Today’s other starter, Luke Weaver, arrives in poor recent form. Over his past four starts, the righty owns a 5.75 ERA with 15 strikeouts and 10 walks over 20.1 innings. He’s still primarily a two-pitch hurler (fastball/change), which spells disaster in the majors without elite stuff. That’s especially the case when he struggles with command and confidence, which has caused his walks to go up and length to decrease. That all spells trouble against the Brewers, who’ve hit an NL-best 76 homers against right-handers. (The Cardinals actually rank second with 74.) For reference, Weaver has a 4.41 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and .300 BAA in six career starts against Milwaukee.
