I dont post to much but I read this forum everyday you guys are great..anyways back when the Lakers/ Celtics were in the finals my Dad put 1000.00 on the Celtics to win the series with Bodog ..After winning, he requested a pay out on June 25th, he funded the account thru a credit card and after several different requests from bodog for verification including faxing a picture of his drivers licencse bodog told him they cannot give him a payout thru his CC and it had to be a check. several weeks went by still no check .my Dad called Bodog they told him they no longer issue checks from a certain provider and they will issue a check thru another currier/provider this was 2 weeks ago still no check.. I feel awful because I was the one who told to use bodog. My dad is total old school and uses a bookie for most bets but his wouldnt take a series bet.guys any suggestions on a recourse? Any help would be great and I will keep this up dated as this continues

Bodog is in bad shape for pay outs these days. Being the big name and the one that big brother wants the worst is really gonna put a hurting on them and in return all of ther customers. Most other books are feeling some heat as well but I don't think it's near as much as old Calvin is. Hope it all works out for you Pops.

Years ago I had a BoDog account for a season and they paid out quick and swift the first two times, but after the Super Bowl they took their sweet time.

I called everyday for three weeks and finally lost half of my account on CBB games, till they finally sent me my $.

My guess is that is what they are doing to your dad. Waiting for him to wager and lose.

Like it was suggested, call and email daily.

Luckily, they ban Canadians, ( Go figure), and I never sent them any money!

I trade sports primarily now, so these worries a thing of the past for me.

My beef of the year...

Sportsbook review gives Tradesports a "C+" rating. Are they nuts??? lol!!!

I lost all respect for that rating place...

Better odds than most books, they pay fast, wonderful interface, need I say more???

For one, the rating is lower, because they do not offer wagers to Americans. Several Porsche cars are not available in America either! LOL!

Two, Tradesports offers no referral commission. Must be strike 2...

And if you cannot play there, it must be the death knell.

He told me to put some in thru Western Union or Money Gram and after I do that, I can get it out that way instead of waiting for a check in the mail.

I use to be able to transfer back and forth thru checking but no more. They will take it out but cant put it back that way.

All I know is that a while back I had an account with BLOWdog for about a week.
One of the reasons I left had nothing to do directly with payouts-it had to do with the fact that it took one of their dumb lowlife clerks almost an hour to figure out what my balance should be after I had sent them some money via Western Union and had transferred some money from another source.
I decided that I really didn't trust my money with any Offshore who would hire someone that stupid.
