Simply one of the worst defensive teams I have seen in a while but they score almost like an 80's Edmonton team but simply can't stop anyone.Rangers have scored 4+ in 5 of last 10 and Ottawa with 3+ in 6 of last 10 and averaging 3.9 in last 10 home games thus are 19-7-2 Over in last 28 home games. GL

Sharks off three straight losses and five of last six overall, so feeling like better team will bring more urgency today.Ottawa has won two straight and allowed just three goals in those wins! Quite astonishing for them but eight of Senators last ten losses have been by multiple goals and I think we get a full game from Sharks today.

3* Washington -1.5(+225) vs Arizona

Backup goalie in net for Caps tonight but he has received good scoring support from Caps when he has played and off a solid showing against Rangers. Capitals off two straight losses after they had a 7 games winning streak and won 5 of those by 2+ goals.Adin Hill will be in net for Coyotes and has limited stats this year against teams with inferior offenses to Capital. I think they will light him up and like value with PL tonight.

2* St.Louis +180 vs Winnipeg

This is largely a situational spot for me as there is no doubt Winnipeg is better team on paper.Winnipeg has won last four games in this series by a 22-9 goal margin and they are also on four game win streak and three of those on road over last 6 days.I like the probability for a Winnipeg apathy night is very large.Blues with a couple of impressive road wins over last 3 weeks and I like their chances in this spot tonight.

3* Buffalo -1.5( +245) vs Philadelphia

Like spot here for Sabres as they have been off since Tuesday and are on four game losing streak.So have to think with their being home they will have a large circumstantial edge over Flyers.13 out of Sabres last 14 games decided by 1 goal,so linesmakers are factoring this into a line that suggest a tight game again. I think extra intensity plus a possibly empty Flyers net at end make the value irresistable. GL

2* Philadelphia vs Winnipeg Under 6.5

Waited until this hit 6.5 I like it! Flyers scored 6 yesterday in Buffalo and now head to Winnipeg for day game.Last two meeting resulted in 8 goals between these two and these irregular start time games throw off timing a lot in NHL. I like Under.

5* LA Kings vs Buffalo Under 5.5

This series has gone over 5.5 last three meetings, going to anticipate it not doing so tonight. Sabres have actually held Kings to just 2.3 GPG over last 10 meetings and of course Kings last in scoring in NHL this year.Not only do Kings not score well against Sabres the Under is 52-24-8 in Kings last 84 road games.

3* Detroit vs Ottawa Under 6

Jimmy Howard has been solid in net for Red Wings and has limited 9 of last 10 teams faced in Detroit to 3 or fewer goals.Interestingly enough these two teams have scored just 15 total goals in last five recent meetings.Ottawa has also shown defensive improvement(relatively) over last 10 games. I don't think this get's past 6.

3* NY Rangers -150 vs Arizona

Coyotes are 7-20-2 in the last 29 meetings and Rangers are actually 45-18 in their last 63 vs Pacific.This is Coyotes third road game in four days,so going to lay a little higher price than I normally like with Rangers with three days rest here. GL

2* Columbus -1.5(+180) vs Vegas

Not fond of laying -145 on PL so will see if Columbus won't participate in a multi goal win tonight. This is Vegas fourth straight road game since last Wednesday and when Blue Jackets have won at home this season, 6 of 7 have been by 2+. Not 100% sure if it is Subban or Fleury in net tonight, but I think Jackets will play with more urgency and likely energy and like value here with PL.

2* Toronto -1.5(+160) vs New Jersey

Better team in Toronto imo and they are off loss, so don't expect them to be asleep tonight. Devils at home , but 3 of last 4 games have been OT/SO and 12 of their last 20 losses have been by 2+goals. I will take Leafs and expect 2 goal win.

2* Winnipeg -1.5(+175) vs LA Kings

Jets on 5 game win streak mostly in home games and outscored opponents 27-15 in that span and of course have won 9 of last 10. 6 of Kings last 10 losses have been by 2+ and I like it again here.

5* New Jersey vs Columbus Under 6.5

This is a big number that has been arrived at with both playing bad defense. Columbus however has cleaned up defensive game and allowed just 6 goals over last 4 games. Devils off game where they allowed 7 goals,so expect extra defensive effort tonight. I like Under

3* Florida +200 vs Toronto

These two can light it up fast, but I like Panthers here with a situational edge as Maple Leafs in off 5 straight road games and this has been a very very close series as none of last five games have been decided by more than 1 goal. I like this dog value tonight.

3* Detroit +200 vs Carolina

Another spot where there is a scrappy Red Wing team coming into Charlotte.Detroit on 4 game skid but Carolina just 3-7 last 10 games and have been outscored 29-13 in those 7 losses. Sound like a susceptible chalk to you? Yes. It's Detroit +200 tonight. GL

3* Chicago +210 vs Colorado

Like this spot for Hawks as over last 10 games Colorado has been outscored 37-29 and certainly not in dominating form or even enough to justify being this type of chalk.Blackhawks just 3-7 last 10 games but 4 of 7 losses by 1 goal. I think they should be competitive and have a good chance to grab road win.

Columbus has been keeping it cleaned up around their net and allowed just 7 goals in last 5 games and are off a Sat game in Philadelphia and playing 3rd game in 4 days. Early start here, so I don't think we will see a lot of spunk. I like Under 5.5
