I would take some GB & BAL considering you are getting better odds on both currently then before the season began.

Before Season
GB +500
BAL +1200

Currently
GB +600
BAL +1800

Super Bowl Odds

I took Chicago, Pittsburgh and Denver pre season.

What these current lines tell me is that there are only about 3 teams worth a crap this season, yet all but about 3 of them have a reasonably legit shot to win it all.

I like the odds on Green Bay, was looking at this earlier. It is just a value play though. I think any team in the playoffs could win it all (except Atlanta and Indy). Even Minnesota, they have been pretty hot lately and beat Houston and Green Bay back to back but that is really a tough road for them. They will be solid next year though. Imagine if they had Percy Harvin right now to go along with Peterson, dangerous team next year.

I just hope Denver or New England do not make the big game, spread the wealth. I think SF has a really good shot but the odds are not worth the risk. Toss Atlanta out the window, they are not as good as their record, I am looking forward to going against them. Forget my beloved Texans, they just are not they same without Cushing and if they get past Cincy they get to play NE again, yuck.

SUPER BOWL ODDS

I see that right now, the line on the SUPER BOWL is:

AFC -2½

Looking at the SUPER BOWL odds listed above and @ various sportsbooks, the 2 listed favorites are AFC teams with a NFC team running 3rd:

DENVER BRONCOS ................. +250
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS ...... +275
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS ......... +450

If either of these 2 AFC teams make it to the SUPER BOWL, as most people expect, I think they will be the favorite.

And regardless of who they play, it appears that they should be at least a 2½ point favorite.

I'm thinking of locking into the AFC -2½.

There should also be the potential of playing a middle.

Any thoughts on this strategy?
