English Premier League

I am a few days early but when I saw this line at 2 I wanted to get it in and not take any chances with it jumping:

Swansea City/Hull City Over 2(-133)

Sorry for my ignorance with soccer wagering, but if they tie 1-1, is it a push or would it be similar to betting the side and it would be a loss if it falls on the number?

more soccer wagering ignorance

My book lists an [O2 and 2 1/2 (+105)] line.
What does that mean?

No worries with the questions guys...ask away

cwin32: for this one if the total lands on 2, through any combination of goals, it would be a push. That is one of the reasons I wanted to grab it at 2. Obviously want them to score more than 2 but at 2 hoping for worst case a push.

gregcrtwrght: that is the Asian Handicap which is what some places offer for soccer lines. It is a split line meaning that half of whatever you wager is on the Over 2 and the other half is on the Over 2.5. If it lands on 2, you lose half your wager and the other half is a push. If 3 goals or more are scored you with the entire wager. I am not a big fan of the Asian Handicap although I know a lot of people like it.

Kras80: you are welcome

Greg, having seen that, I'm assuming they have pushes for totals bets, otherwise there would be no point to betting O2 -133 if it would lose on a 1-1 game when you could get + odds for 2.5 and 1-1 would still lose and 2-1 would still win...there wouldn't be a difference

How can you lay juice in soccer?

Don't you know the only way to make money is take road dogs when the Asian #'s are not heavily juiced on days that don't start with S

C'mon Bawlmer you should know that by now.

...I'm also laying the goal in the early Saturday game
