8-18 CFL YTD 10-7(+8*)

5* British Columbia vs Toronto Under 50.5

The loser in this series has scored 15 or fewer points in 4 of last 5 meetings and both have QB's that are bottom tier CFL.Toronto off bye week and in 7 of 8 previous games scored 20 or fewer,so offensively challenged to say the least.Under is 14-3 in the last 17 meetings in Toronto and these two offenses should make the defenses look very good today.I think this stays in low 40s. GL

8-18 CFL YTD 11-7(+13*)

5* British Columbia vs Toronto Under 50.5 W

That was too close for comfort. But lets try tonights game as well.

3* Edmonton -18 vs Montreal

Montreal allowed 37 first downs last week to Ottawa and managed to hold then to 24 points. I don't think they can keep Edmonton under 30 tonight and Montreal is down to what is essentially a 3rd or 4th depth chart QB in Pipkin,so this is likely to get ugly pretty quick.I'm not a big chalk fan but this spread seems like it should be in 20s. GL

8-19 CFL YTD 11-8(+10*)

4* Saskatchewan +6.5 vs Calgary

Both teams come in off bye week, but that extra time typically favors the team with the most to fix/clean up and that is undeniably Saskatchewan.Roughriders outstated Calgary in last meeting and are off 2 straight losses. Calgary is 7-0 and that has been because of defensive dominance. This should be from a motivational standpoint a lot bigger game for Roughriders and I think they will have good chance to get this straight up. GL

8-22 CFL YTD 12-8(+14*s)

This is midway point for CFL and a look at Thursday night while I have time.

Thursday 8-23 CFL

2* Hamilton -2.5 vs Edmonton

I will keep this a 2* as Hamilton won meeting earlier in year with Edmonton and hasen't looked particularly sharp on offense. I do think bye week will benefit Hamilton as offense hasen't been sharp but weapons are there. Hamilton is also positionally in more need of a win here at home. GL

8-24 CFL YTD 12-9(+12*s)

5* Montreal +5 vs Toronto

This in my estimation is a perfect spot for Montreal to ambush a very average Toronto team. Toronto is 3-5 and could easily be worse than Montreal record wise as they have won three games by a total of 5 points! Toronto is off back to back close wins and have beaten Montreal two straight by 71-25 margin,so a situational edge to Montreal with revenge.Toronto could also be very flat here and as ugly as Montreal has been, Toronto comes pretty close to being as bad.Simply can't see Argos this type of chalk and feel Montreal has excellent chance at W. 8-25 CFL YTD 13-9(+17*s)

3* Calgary -9 vs Winnipeg

Calgary is off first loss of season plus lost last meeting in 2017 to Winnipeg and Calgary is 35-17 ATS in their last 52 games following a straight up loss. Calgary should be focused and their is little doubt they can over this number as their average margin of victory in first seven wins was 18.6 ppg.Interesting trend for this is Calgary is 13-0 ATS in their last 13 games in Week 11.I will lay points here. GL

Thanks Gary, as always its a battle against regression but I hope with NFL and College Football starting these CFL lines will get softer. We will see. GL

8-25 CFL YTD 14-9(+20*s)

2* Saskatchewan vs BC Lions Under 50

Under is 20-8 in the last 28 meetings in BC and these offenses are struggling to produce points.Saskatchewan caught Calgary completely asleep last week in scoring 40, but prior to that game had scored 19 or less in 6 of 9.BC is similar with offensive struggles and plays pretty tough defensively at home.Under is 40-18 in the last 58 meetings and I think it strikes again.GL

8-26 CFL YTD 15-9(+22*s)

Have to feel bad for anyone who had Over on Saskatchewan last night. After 38 point first half they manage to score just 7 in second.

Friday 8-31 CFL YTD 15-9(+22*s)

4* Ottawa vs Montreal Over 51

These team played two weeks ago with close to a 1,000 yards in offense but just 41 points. Montreal is actually playing better offensively but the defense has more holes than Swiss cheese. QB spot for Montreal has become a strength and Harris for Ottawa should pick Montreal apart again.I wont be surprised to see this game get into 60's. GL

Sunday 9-2 CFL YTD 15-10(+18*s)

Want to get this posted for tomorrow before I forget their is CFL on Sunday. This is actually a very appealing spot. GL if you tail.

5* Winnipeg vs Saskatchewan Over 54

This series has had some really high scoring games and when you extract two very low scoring meetings over last 10 , the other 8 meetings average out to 63.1 points per meeting. This is first meeting between these two this season Over is 15-5 in Winnipegs last 20 road games. I think we get over 60 here on Sunday. GL

Monday 9-3 CFL YTD 15-10(+18*s)

3* Toronto vs Hamilton Under 51.5

These teams simply aren't producing points as Toronto has scored 24 or less in 8 of 9 and Hamilton 25 or less in 5 of last 6.Under is actually an incredible 40-15 in Hamiltons last 55 home games! I like Under today. GL

Friday 9-7 CFL YTD 15-11(+15*s)

3* BC -1.5 vs Ottawa

BC needs a win here a good bit more than Ottawa and are off two straight close losses as well as have Triple revenge motivation against Ottawa. BC lost those three games by a grand total of 16 points.Trends for this one favor Ottawa , but I think BC is desperate for W. I like Lions tonight. GL

Saturday 9-8 CFL YTD 16-11(+18*s)

2* Hamilton -6 vs Toronto

Masoli gives Hamilton a big edge at qb and Toronto is just 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games following a straight up loss.Hamilton is also 10-3 ATS last 13 meetings. I like Hamilton today. GL

Saturday 9-8 CFL YTD 17-11(+20*s)

All for me with CFL this week.

2* Calgary -3 vs Edmonton

Calgary struggled last week with Edmonton at home so I don't think there is much of a chance they will overlook this game. This one has a nice trend as Calgary didn't cover last week and are 38-18 ATS in their last 56 games following a ATS loss. I will go with Calgary. GL

Friday 9-14 CFL YTD 17-12(+18*s)

2* Montreal +3.5 vs BC

Going to tread lightely here as Montreal on a two game winning streak and my instincts suggest that after two straight Montreal is certain to regress. But they have gotten a lot better since early in season and BC has been involved in a lot of close games. If you are a trend player, BC would be play here, but I think Montreal is actually playing with a lot of focus and actually playoff aspirations. I like Montreal tonight. GL

A couple in CFL tomorrow that are more enticing than this one. I have it a 2* and expect close game tonight.
