Believe it or not, I didn't give up all hope for at least a push! The Kings are notorious in these type of games when they take a commanding lead and then play their grind it out, time consuming game. I was watching the game and they never let the Wild mount any type of rally or pressure. They had several counter attacks when the Wild were caught on odd man rushes, but really didn't put much pressure on them either. Typical Kings victory. Unfortunately, the regular season is boring for them, so they don't bring their A game all the time. That's why they will probably be around the .500 mark all season long.
I'm going to next week's Kings-Bruins game at Staples. Should be a great one.
