Man vs Machine and prediction engines..

It is great to lurk on occasion...

Fantastic job msudogs!!!

You defeat machines. : )

I have been quite busy. I moved to the country, and have satellite hookup. It is too slow to trade, so I went back and looked at machines.

I decided to take a new approach, be a lot more sensible in my ways. I am slowly putting $200 a month into books, and running things like a mutual fund.

I have not wagered yet. The machines are not ready! lol!

Will they ever be fn’ ready???

As per usual, I searched the net high and low, looking into neural networks, the supposed king of machines. Below is a link to the results.

http://www.thepredictiontracker.com...lts.php?year=10

From what I can surmise, these are all computer driven systems. The tout factor should be out of the equation, but I cannot say that for sure. I am going over each site individually in speed read mode..

What is most interesting, is the finest machines of men still struggle ATS. My own machines are always in an evolution, and they too have bad years, even though they are up over 15 years.

I was able to score some really nice data, and may try SU NFL only. A new machine!!!

Here is a link to some nice data. It is sweet, because it has digital odds for SU, something I searched years for!

With this data, I will attempt an SU machine, using wave-forms...

In a strange dream, I saw something about wave-forms. The angle of decent.

I needed this final clue, (well, maybe not the final one, lol), to get things to work better.

The NFL is too short a season to really wave-from anything, but I will see if I can.

I will enter the NFL contest as well. As long as I am legally allowed..

Another nice toy if you like to build machines.

It really is as good as Microsoft Excel 2010.

The is the best free office suite on the market, bar none. I tested a many...

http://www.kingsoftstore.com

Yes, I need power to build wave-forms. I will back test MLB data soon. I found tools to get the data for every year back to the early 1990's.

So far, nothing much new on emulation of stock markets tools, using sports that I can find. There is a new Betfair software, which does a pretty good job, however it is slow and you need to be a Betfair player. It is very limited.

I will post the link in a day or so, maybe a year...

That is my final goal, turn all sports wagering, into a quasi stock market. I have built an Excel prototype, but it needs a lot of work. Works for MLB only.

I have time on my side for a while, so I a gonna fix it..

Tonight, an NFL conversion!

Wish me no luck...

I will talk to you later Point!

Sleep time.

Just for fun, betting every dog every NFL game since 2006 including playoffs, SU, you would have won $421 betting $15 a game using a 1.5% of a $1000 BR. Draw-down a plenty, so it cannot be done.

That is not the trick of course. The trick is, when can you bet all dogs for a while, and quit when a waveform says to quit?

You could end up, taking a whole year off! lol!

That needs work. : )

It is tough to explain, but something is there...

More later by phone!

Serious question as I build.

That song was not very metal..

In the NFL betting single units, what would you consider success?

Season units, or several years unit success?

For example, I have 7 years hitting 68 units, or roughly ten units per year.

The system however, produces years with lows of a one unit gain. Kind of weak. I look to add systems, to make the results better.

For a pro gambler, how many single units would be considered a good year? NFL only.

I never looked!

Multiple unit betting is interesting, but of course is a double edged sword.

Why don't you share the wealth this year and join the NFL Contest. I'm pretty sure you qualify as long as you don't mention your a homosexual.

As long as you stop calling me a homosexual, I just might.

Or I might have your lawyer sue you...

I hope you gave back the lady her underwear..

And nice Pink!

As an aside, should one wait until three games have passed before predicting???

Testing..
