I put the sell in at 1.08.
I know, it confusing, British odds.
If 1.2 becomes 1.1, you almost double the money.
I do not know why the Brits are like that.
It is easier. lol!
I expect a lot of arbitrage is going on right now.
That is, they are going to books, placing a bet, and trying to squawk a few out at Betfair.
They buy at 1.23, to sell at 1.26. They are in a trading madness.
Sure, you can make decent money, if you plunk down 10K.
But it is a silly way to wager. Say a book cancels the bet?
You lose!
I prefer to trade. : )
Arbitrage is the mystical side of gambling. It actually does not work that well.
A book refunds you, and the bet is off. Been there...

I got hoodwinked, for $400 once, by these people out of New Zealand. I have been gambling a long time.
This was like twelve years ago.
I sent money, for them to do the arbitrage!!!
I was too freaking lazy. lol!!!
They lost, and with help from people from New Zealand and Australia, I tracked them down to the house they lived in.
But I let it go. Suppose they were like dangerous??? And had lots of money, to kill me. Sometimes, you take the loss!!! lol!!!
Plus, I did not want my online friends to get hurt.

Badger, what Betfair players do, is try force the bet up. lol!!!

They do not actually play the bet.
They put 100k in, to try force a sell. I see it all the time basket trading.
Makes for some nice wins!!!
Yes, I researched it all. Some are loaded dukes and all. Lots of money!!!
For them, another $100k is not sweat.
They kill me horse trading. lol!

If the market is against them, they cannot win. It is like a poker bluff, my nearest theory.
They are not in it for the winner. They are in it, to make a quick 1K. Perhaps more.
Say it is 1.23. At 1.24 you make a grand betting 100K.
That buys a lot of booze!!! lol!!!
