I have to give a big LOL at points post, wojo.

Back to the subject. uthustler, thanks for the kind respect of stfu. You're a class act. I was just trying to make a point, not crack on you. I know you were trying to contribute to the forum, which is always a plus here. however, I don't think taking a persons business who use to be a staple around here is the thing to do, that's all.

Good luck today.

Wojo, sorry, but that post by pointmagic was pretty funny. Good luck.

Now that was funny, I guess he's saying don't let the cyber door hit you on the back side on the way out.......As far as Osk is concerned he seemed ok while he was here but he still lurks.....getting picks I guess......The fact that he joined up with the system player Golden Pretender from ATS when he first went pro, made me lose all respect for him.

I never knew you could copyright an opinion. I suppose it is more of a copyright of the name associated with said opinion. I have never seen a service make so certain that their clients are not to redistribute the opinions for which the client is paying. Then again I have lnot ooked at a lot of capping services either!

I still find it pretty silly trying to enforce such policies. To me it is like Roger Ebert coming and telling me to take down a forum post because I wrote, "Robert Ebert says this new upcoming movie looks good, so I think it is going to be really good too!" We are all sharing opinions here, right? Whether some of us pay to have those opinions made for us is up to each individual, but to expect an individual to pay for an opinion and then to expect them to not share that opinion with other people is prepostorous to me. I guess that's why I am not a tout.

Osk seems like a good guy and I hope he continues to do well. But there is a price of doing business in every industry. Should a restaraunt owner make a bartender pay for every drink he makes incorrectly and has to remake, or that he spills? Why not the owner lost money because of it? That's the nature of doing business. Don't like it find a different industry. Again this is just my opinion.

If Osk was delivering his pick in a newsletter that newsletter was then being redistributed, okay. But do intellectual property rights apply to OPINIONS?!?

whatever, make you own plays and it's a moot point.

Good Luck guys!

And by the way!!!

The Osk stuff, it's his stuff. To post it is wrong, so very wrong.

You might be sued, so I would not do that.

As we can tell, he was a good guy.

This is not about a bad drink in a bar. It's about intellectual copyright.

For Osk though, another hammer is coming from a different direction. It wants to state, that using the word "NBA" even though it is in the public domain, would require a licensing fee.

And of course, the NBA does not condone gambling. We watch it cuz, we have run out South park re-runs. Or we gamble. One or the other...

Craiger is a good soul of this earth, got to side with him on this one.

Say it was a stock market publication. Can you just post the data as free? You cannot.

Even the Wall Street Journal requires a link back.

So yes, stealing his data is bad, and may Santa derive you of any toys this year...

So, I guess posting Lang's stuff is ok then, or Phil Steele's. Kind of a double standard going on around here don't ya think?

I really don't care one way or the other.....just struck me funny.

Tdbabe, none should be posted.

There are monitoring services people agree to join, who sell things. That is fair and square. So if they are losing, they agreed, by the fact they joined it, to drum up business, to have the record tracked.

As close as we are gonna get!!!

I'm feeling Steve Miller blue...

Carol

I take your point, but, Jeff was, or is, a staple here. It's his business.

Just family stuff, the way we think of you or Bytore and Slip.

Where is Slip anyway?

I take your point also, except family doesn't leave family....and then stay silent except to lurk. Not even a howdy once in awhile. It was a set-up from the beginning....that's my take anyway.

Tdbabe, what is inspires me by times, and many a time, is the love between you married couples. And how you talk of it.

I often do not know, what goal if any a man had when he first posted here. Or a woman.

Personally,I found it fun! I met this guy called Shadow. That was my first tries at posting, and he was very open and funny. He hooked me!

I still do, love this place for that. The first post by someone I don't know. : )

Nick was plain nutty!!! That throws a lot of the money objectives out the window! lol!!!

It's deeper, this prison is proof. : )

I realize some were testing the selling skills. That was rather obvious. A ready market, clients wanting to win. It was only when I built many a machine, I saw the folly.

It's is exactly like stock markets. The ATS game by books so perfect, you will never beat the book!

You can though, ride the waveforms. That's why I post too many songs.

Waveforms!!! lol!!!

It was so great to read the story by Markinc7. Frosty!!!

That's my trip by days. Maybe it's the drugs, I don't know.

Memory of old albums I used to own come back to me. Right in the middle of a Rivo trip in the middle of the night. It says to play "Steve Miller!!! in the forum!!!".
