Bad call

Total control of the game & asking your kicker to get 9 yards instead of taking an easy 2 TD lead? I know it's easy to say after the play, but I don't get it.

Of course it looks like it may not matter. Kapernick is obviously rattled & his team isn't helping him much. Secondary looks lost & James fumble took a lot out of them.

Yeah, I thought Kapernick looked pretty good until the last two possessions, but he's definitely unsure of himself now.
