Cheap Shot or Not?
Wondering what folks thoughts are on the Tom Brady slide at the end of the first half where he extends his leg at the end of the play in what looks like an attempt to trip and or kick a Ravens defensive player.
Cheap shot, or ok for quarterbacks to get a shot in once and a while?

very true Ronnie, it likely will depend on your viewpoint of the player (like him or not) and the teams involved or where your cash was.
Looking at the replay, It looks to me like he extends the leg out, in an attempt to make contact. Perhaps he was hoping to do so to draw a flag for the defender hitting him after sliding?

Instinct
Anybody that plays sports would understand. I don't play football anymore but play softball once a week.
Awile back I was sliding into 2nd base and the shortstop, while catching the ball sorta had to come over the top of me to catch the ball and make the tag and I instinctively shot my legs in the air in self defense similar to yesterday. The player understood but the rest of the team thought IT was intentional and an arguement ensued. I didn't even think, I was just protecting myself instinctively.
It wasn't Rose and Fosse
