I have to say this again. We are still struggling. The fact of the matter is my wife still has been unable to find work. Not for a lack of trying but she is 40 and many of these bars just will not hire her because she is not that young, hot waitress she used to be. Other places, it is just the waiting game to see if she gets a call back. That has been slowed due to the holiday.

Truth is, we do not even have enough to buy baby diapers right now and need them. We have around $5 to our name and $45 on the way from a good statfox friend. They have to get an O Line and they only reason I am hard on them is because as you probably know deep down inside they have been lucky and are overrated by the books. I do not hate the Bears, just trying to find a weakness for everyone to exploit.

These papers basically show signed lease July 1st, Got laid off July 2nd, Denied Unemployment appeal July 25th, the food stamps we recieve and who is in our household, and a couple other things. I may add a few more. Maybe this is for my own sanity.

I did do some research on that. The waiting list is at least 6 months. The thing is, we just have to make it until the end of January and my wife just has to get hired somewhere. We are very close to being there. We so badly want to stay where we are. It is nothing special but it is somewhere to live. These times will pass, I just worry about being homeless if we do not pull December rent together. If we can manage that with help we will be fine I feel. I can buy time with the landlord in January but it will not help me one bit if I am being evicted.

I'm so sorry to hear you are struggling like this. Unfortunately, it's the world that we live in right now. Just know that it will get better.

There are many people struggling right now in southern NJ after the devastation from Hurricane Sandy.
You just have to take one day at a time and know that one day you will look back at this and understand how much stronger a person you have become.

Thanks bro. My pride is lost but hey I do know there is tomorrow. I just wish America could get back on it's feet again and be the nation it once was. I, like everyone, wish we could have that feeling after 9/11 back again, without the casualties. That was the greatest time I have ever lived in. I see some of that here in the help my family has gotten. Great Americans and Canadians helping their fellow man. I will never discount how great people are I just wish for better days. I know when we get back on our feet we plan to help in our area. My daughter spent her thanksgiving at an old folks home visiting with people she did not know. I am so proud of her for that.

Each year my family adopts a family in our area to help for the Holidays. This year we have decided to send some help your way.
