80% of the people that I know that voted for Obama in 2008 are voting for Romney this time or not voting at all.
I am predicting that Romney will get 3-5% more votes than McCain got and Obama will get 10-15% less votes than he got in 2008. That would still give Obama the popular vote thanks to Cal. & NY, but Romney would win the Electoral College.

By all means...any claim of responsibility from an al-Qaeda-tied group should be taken as truthful and verified the minute it's posted on Twitter and Facebook.

The election is over. It will be closer than it would have been a month ago, but Obama has the election won. News outlets would make you believe otherwise with their hundreds of different polls, but it's a done deal. How many people do you know that hadn't made up their mind months ago? I know a handful that claim they're undecided, but most of those are very unlikely to vote anyway. 98% of actual voters made up their mind way before debate #1. By the way, I personally don't know anyone that changed their mind about Obama or Romney after any of the debates. I don't really believe either of them can turn our country around, but from a betting perspective it's Obama or nothing.

I agree Buzzard but the truth is this will sway peoples votes just like it does when Tom Cruise endorses a candidate. Sad but true. For the purposes of this thread as which bet to make on the outcome of the race this is a huge development, especially just a few weeks from the vote.

I could have chosen 10 other news sites to paste a link from so yes this is huge. Why do I get the feeling this is heading towards a political discussion when we are trying to just post information that may help people decide to put their money on?

here's my take...whoever wins IS NOT going to change my life one bit, i just can't stand looking at or listening to romney for more than 30 seconds. not counting the fact that he flip flops on so many issues. even his own state of mass can't stand the guy. i will win $300 about 11:00 on election eve. maybe 10:30.
